Bride & Groom

WHAT IS IT ABOUT MY HUSBAND THAT I LOVE SO MUCH?

1) He is quite independent and yet needs me and doesn't have a problem telling me so.
2) He is big & strong and tender all rolled into one big teddy bear of a guy.
3) Sometimes he knows what I am thinking before I do.
4) He is my dog's best pal. (Dog's know things, ya
know)  [See Woodstock page.]
5) He tells me I'm beautiful. [Love is blind remember - LOL]
6) He sees my interests as equally important as his own.
7) He likes my cooking and tells me so.
8) He's always fixing things trying to make my life easier.
9) He opens my door, carries my bags, lifts heavy things, and all that chivalrous stuff I love so much!
10) He talks to me a lot, he listens to me a lot, he's my best friend.
11) He makes me laugh. Often!!!
12) He is so easy to just hang out with.
13) I've never met anyone else like him. He's quite cool!
14) Oh Yeah, and he's a little crazy, too!!!
15) Now, I can joyfully add that he is a born-again Christian and loves the Lord! We both have Jesus now and that has an awesome affect on one's marraige. Praise God for that!!!

More things I thought of later that I  love about my husband:
1) He likes to surprise me by washing my van for me and he does it himself.
2) He's willing to bare his soul to me.
3) He does thoughtful things for his friends, too.
4) He comforts me when I need it.
5) He sees things much more simply and helps me not to be so deep at times.
6) He has good ideas and is extremely handy.
7) He likes to be with me.
8) Now years after writing all of the above - I can add that I love his spiritual leadership in our family.

I hear wedding bells.

You got some long hair there, bubba!

Our relationship is solid because we both have a committed relationship to the Lord and to each other in that order. The biggest challenge of marriage is to learn how to think first and keep yourself from being a reactor. We all have a natural tendency to want to defend ourselves, but it is always at the expense of our partner not being heard. Understanding and acceptance is everything. Being right is NOTHING!
