I moved across the country from the Detroit area to San Francisco when I was 19 years old to try and "find myself" only to find that I was not there, so I moved back. That was 1976/77. My sister & her husband & two kids were moving there and at the last minute I packed everything I could and moved with them. I had three hours to pack and left with $60.00. It was scary and freeing both at the same time. My sister must have really loved me to let me tag along like that. It was the 70's and I learned a whole lot during the year I lived there. The biggest thing I learned is that God will not let allow me to run away from myself. Everywhere I go I am there and so is He. Thirty-three years have passed by and it's true, God has NEVER left me or forsaken me.

My birthday is August 29th, 1956. I have a wonderful husband. His name is Neal. We were married April 7th, 1999. It was a planned elopement if that makes any sense. 

THINGS YOU REALLY DID NOT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ME:
I can't drive a stick shift
I've been on the top of Pike's Peak
I drove back from Florida in one sitting (20 hours) on no sleep
I slept in a rest area bathroom in Texas
I was in an earthquake three times when I lived in San Francisco.
I have a "bop-it" in my office
I held a giant boa constrictor on vacation at Mount Rushmore.
I cried at my kindergarten Halloween party and my mom had to come and get me
I have had a habit of pulling my hair out since I was sixteen years old.
I fell in when white water rafting while going through a dangerous rapid.
My favorite thing to do as a child was to play dress-up
I love tests and quizzes of all kinds
I'm an organizing nut, but my desk is usually a mess.

THINGS YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT ME:
I know sign language.
My parents had me in every state but four by the time I was 13 years old.
I was in charge of the Mother & Daughter Banquets at church for five years and loved it.
It's very difficult for me to come up with things to tell my husband I want for Christmas.
I'm a low maintenance wife [perhaps you should ask my husband though :)].
