It's 2005 now and I have never had a relapse or recurrence
of any kind. I lost 175 lbs. and gained it back over the last 13 years. Neal and I are both committing 2005 to better health
and weight loss. The subjective symptoms I have are still some tightness and leg shakes. My neck, head (headband), and left
ear tip are tight and my feet still feel like my socks are always balled up. I get leg shakes sometimes which is best described
as extreme ancy-ness. I do get some right leg pain, but not sure if it's the MS or not. I still avoid doctors, but really
should go to a neurologist and see if there is any medication I could be on to improve fatigue and numbness. I can't complain
as if this is as bad as it gets I am a happy girl. My weight is a bigger problem than my MS right now.
It is 2007 now. My husband was diagnosed with MS in
the fall of 2006. How weird is that? As for me - I found out that what they always called the benign kind of MS is not thought
of that way now. I need to go to my husband's neurologist and have an MRI and all that stuff. I should be on some kind of
meds myself too as the disease progresses even though my motor symptoms have not changed. There is most likley cognitive damage
and I can say I definitely think that is so. I will update after I go.
